FAQs

How long will I be away?
Our shortest trip would require a minimum of two nights away from home, with our longest trip being six nights away.

Are flights provided?
Yes, you will be provided with return flights from a London airport (LHR, LGW, LTN, STN, LCY), and all work related transport expenses will be paid for in-resort. If the retreat is based in the UK, travel is also provided.

What about meals?
Just like our guests, you will receive breakfast and dinner. Where breakfast and dinner are not provided, a meal allowance will be paid.

Is there any training required?
You will need to complete Group Fitness Leader Initial Training to deliver our signature programmes Workout Away Revive, Rivals & HIIT. You will complete two full days of training in London where we'll also teach you about our business and your responsibilities in-resort.

How many classes will I teach?
'You'll teach between one and three sessions per day.

Will I have free time to myself?
Your working day will begin early, sometimes before sunrise. Workouts and activities will run throughout the day leading up to dinner, where you will dine with the group. You will get gaps throughout the day where you can relax, but your working days will be busy.

What does the administration part of the role include?
Most administration is carried out in the UK. When you are away, you must keep track of expenses, handle restaurant reservations, and book transport from our partner providers.

If anything goes wrong, will I have support 24/7?
Yes. We have an On-Call Manager available 24/7. Minor customer experience issues that can be handled locally should be solved by yourself to make things better for our guests; this is why a solution-focused approach to work is essential.

Will I work alone or as part of a team?
Retreats overseas have a trainer team of two allocated to them. You'll lead retreats in the UK alone.

Can I socialise with the guests?
Of course, we want our guests to have a great time, and we want the same for you. Considering that our holidays are centred around fitness and well-being, alcohol can be consumed, but only in moderation, and conduct should always represent our brand in the best possible way.

What will my accommodation be like?
Accommodation varies depending on the retreat location. You may be required to share your room with another staff member; otherwise, you will have your own room. You may not necessarily be accommodated at the same venue, but you will be very close by. You will receive a good level of accommodation furnished to a high standard.
