Workout Away HIIT is a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training session designed to burn calories, reduce body fat and tone. HIIT is a science-proven method which improves cardiovascular fitness, speed and agility, and challenges performance beyond normal physical limits.

This class is for everyone, no matter where you are in your fitness journey. If you want to supercharge your session, we're here for it! If you need to dial some movements down, your instructor will be right by your side.

QUESTIONS WE'RE OFTEN ASKED

I don't normally do HIIT. Will I be able to do this class?

Of course. There are so many different options for people just getting started, so you can take the session at your own pace. 

Why is the class only 30 minutes?

The class is designed for you to work to maximum effort in each set. When training at this level, you should only be able to sustain energy levels for up to 30 minutes. 

I can't do much impact. Can I still do Workout Away HIIT?

Our entire Workout Away HIIT class can be done with low-impact options. Your instructor will demonstrate all options as standard, so everyone has a way to move that's right for them. 

How many calories could I burn in a Workout Away HIIT class?

Results vary person by person, but research claims that HIIT training burns 25-30% more calories than other forms of exercise within the same time period. You can expect to burn 300 - 400 calories in a Workout Away HIIT class.

What equipment is needed for Workout Away HIIT?

Nothing. The session is 100% body weight. You can use a mat for the core challenge at the end, and we'll give you one. 

Is Workout Away HIIT available anywhere else other than on retreats?

Workout Away HIIT is exclusive to Workout Away and Etu by Workout Away fitness retreats.
